SUMMER BREAK!
A great reset for homeschool families; a time to reflect on the last year and prepare for the next. A time for the kids to unwind and run free. But, as with anything, we know that there is always an opportunity to have the blessings robbed if we do not protect these special times.
But take heart, you can make this the best summer yet; a summer full of fun and memories, with learning and growth woven in. You can turn that boredom into opportunity all while getting the much-needed break you have been waiting for!*
*Description and podcast idea taken from an article written by Aby Rinella for the Homeschool Idaho Magazine

Crisis to Christ: The Hardest and Best Year of My LifeBy Steve Demme / Building Faith Families
Crisis to Christ is the autobiographical account of one year---the "best and hardest"--in the author's life, when the process of transitioning to a family-run business opened up a wellspring of issues springing from past wounds, scars, and baggage. A story of the internal processing and healing that took place, this unique account intersperses' the author's story with advice, encouragement, and exhortation to embrace the cross. This book will affirm others who are going through valleys and tribulations, and provide comfort in reminding readers that every Christian faces trials that God uses to transform us into the image of His Son. 175 pages, softcover.
Family Worship: You Shall Teach Them To Your Children With Audiobook CDBy Steve Demme / Math-U-See
Family Worship is a practical, Scripture-based book filled with tips on teaching the Word of God to children of all ages. Christian parents know that discipling children in the way of the Lord is of paramount importance but it's often difficult to implement. Chapters encourage parents in the necessary nature of their task and help with practical elements like how to create a routine. Stories from the author's own life are integrated throughout, and questions for reflection are given at the end of each chapter. Comes with audiobook CD. 111 pages, softcover.
Psalm 100 ESV
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
    Serve the Lord with gladness!
    Come into his presence with singing!
Know that the Lord, he is God!
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
    Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the Lord is good;
    his steadfast love endures forever,
    and his faithfulness to all generations.”
