Karen DeBeus is a homeschooling mom learning to live more simply and keep God at the center of it all. She is the author of three best-selling homeschooling books and writes at Simply Living for Him. She speaks nationally at homeschooling conventions and recently was a speaker at the Family Bible Conference in Washington, DC. Her passion is to help others clear the clutter from their lives, seek God first, and to encourage women and families to get in the Word every day.

In 2016, Karen DeBeus founded the Simply Living for Him Retreat, which is a time of rest and renewal for all women seeking Jesus. She enjoys life on her hobby farm with her husband and four children. How do we keep our focus on Jesus during the Christmas Season? Join Yvette Hampton and Aby Rinella as they discuss their family Christmas traditions. They also talk about some of the most important issues that families face at Christmas, like "when is the appropriate time to start listening to Christmas music?", "live or fake Christmas tree?", and what their favorite Christmas cookies are. 
 
Aby Rinella is homeschool mom to 3, writer, speaker and director of her local homeschool support group. She writes and speaks to encourage and inspire women to live the life they were designed to live, to train up their children in God’s Word and to stand on truth in a culture that has lost its foundation. Aby and her husband, Jesse, love the outdoors and speak and write on the benefits of pointing children to their Creator by spending time in His creation. Aby is a featured speaker for the 2020 Homegrown Generation Family Expo.

Yvette is a homeschool mom through and through, but it wasn't supposed to be this way. Like so many other homeschoolers, Yvette and her husband, Garritt, said they would NEVER homeschool their kids, but God had other plans. Yvette is the producer and host of the upcoming documentary, Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution, being directed by her husband, Garritt Hampton. As a mom who is concerned for the future of this generation and the future of our country, Yvette has a deep passion to see a culture shift by encouraging people through the truth of God’s Word.

We discovered the Christian Heroes: Then and Now book series at a homeschool conference several years ago. Since then, these books have become precious to us. We have loved the hours we have spent learning about the faith of George Muller, Corrie Ten Boom, Billy Graham, Brother Andrew, and so many other Godly heroes. As we have read these stories our own faith and commitment has grown.
 
Janet and Geoff Benge are the authors of the Christian Heroes: Then and Now and Heroes of History book series. Janet also developed and wrote curriculum unit study guides to go with many of the books. Combined there are over eight million copies of the Heroes books in print in 25 languages. The Benges, originally from New Zealand, served for ten years as missionaries with Youth With A Mission in the Philippines, Tonga, Hawaii, Texas, Montana, and the Makah Indian Reservation in Washington State. Along the way they raised two daughters and an adopted a son, a street boy from the Philippines.

For the past 22 years of their 33-year-book-writing career, Janet and Geoff have had the privilege of immersing themselves in the writing of inspiring stories for middle and high school grade children, though they are aware they have a large number of adult readers too! They live in Central Florida, where their two married daughters also reside. Janet and Geoff currently have three young grandchildren, their oldest, a five-year-old grandson, has Down Syndrome.
